Jordan Bowery: Leyton Orient sign former Aston Villa and Oxford United striker

Jordan Bowery scored seven goals in 20 appearances for Oxford

Leyton Orient have signed former Aston Villa and Oxford United striker Jordan Bowery on a two-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.

Bowery, 25, was released by Oxford at the end of last season.

He started his career at Chesterfield and later had a two-year spell at Villa, where he made 22 appearances, 15 of them as a substitute.

In 2014. he was signed by Rotherham before moving on to Oxford in the January transfer window.
