Cummings extends stay at Easter Road
Hibernian striker Jason Cummings has signed a new four-year contract with the Scottish Championship club.
The 20-year-old's new deal at Easter Road runs until 2020.
He said: "There was never any doubt in my mind over where I wanted to be this season, and I'm relieved to get it over the line."
Smith joins United from Dons on loan
Aberdeen forward Cammy Smith, 20, has joined Dundee United on a season-long loan.
Smith, who has four goals in 91 appearances for Premiership Dons, told the Aberdeen website, external: "At this stage of my development I need to try and play more first-team football, so I am really looking forward to the challenge of trying to play on a regular basis for Dundee United.
"I think the Championship this season is going to be a good league and it is going to be very competitive."
Manager Derek McInnes added: "Although it's a season-long loan, we have the option to recall him in January."
Rodgers urges Celtic fans to 'stay calm'
"There is no embarrassment," says new Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers following a 1-0 first leg defeat to Lincoln Red Imps in Champions League qualifying.
"It was a tough game in tough conditions. We didn't take our chances, they took their chance
"We have seen enough to see that we can get through in the second leg.
"Celtic fans expect us to get through into the group stages. The message to them is to stay calm. This is a good group of players, they are working hard and in a week's time we will need (the fans)."
Sviatchenko backs Celtic to recover at home
"We're a bit surprised," Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko told BBC Scotland.
"We will do our job when we come to Celtic Park, we know that we're the better team."

Ventspils deserve respect, says Aberdeen boss
Manager Derek McInnes is warning that Ventspils will provide Aberdeen with much tougher opposition than their last brush with a side from Latvia.
The Dons swept past Dauguva Riga 8-0 on aggregate two years ago.
Ventspils are "way ahead of what Dauguva Riga were," according to the Dons boss.
Hearts expect to feel the heat in Malta
Temperatures are expected to be around 30C when Hearts kick off against Birkirkara tomorrow evening.
"They are hard to break down and like to play on the counter-attack," head coach Robbie Neilson told BBC Scotland.
"You can't have a gung-ho game at 100 miles an hour because of the heat."
Pukki ready for battle against old boss Neil Lennon
Brondby striker Teemu Pukki will go up against his former manager Neil Lennon when the Danes take on Hibs.
The Finland international did not set the heather on fire during his time at Celtic but has good memories of Scotland and Lennon.
"It's going to be a hard game, probably physical, like always in Scotland," Pukki told BBC Scotland.
