- Published
Championship side Wigan Athletic have signed goalkeeper Adam Bogdan from Liverpool on a season long-loan deal.
The Hungarian made just six appearances for the Reds in his one season after joining on a free transfer from Bolton.
The 28-year-old began his career in his homeland, before having seven seasons at Bolton and spending the 2009-10 campaign on loan at Crewe Alexandra.
In 2012 he was Bolton's player of the year and has earned 20 caps for his national side.
Wigan Athletic achieved promotion from League One last season as champions, and will play Bristol City in their first game since returning to the Championship on 6 August.
