Championship side Huddersfield were knocked out of the EFL Cup in the first round by League One club Shrewsbury, thanks to Louis Dodds' late low finish.

Shrewsbury took the lead after just 20 seconds when AJ Leitch-Smith's shot deflected past goalkeeper Danny Ward.

The Terriers levelled before the break when Elias Kachunga headed in Aaron Mooy's cross.

But Dodds won it for the hosts late on when he latched onto Ivan Toney's ball to beat Ward from the edge of the box.
