Carlos Sanchez: Aston Villa midfielder joins Fiorentina on loan

Carlos Sanchez has scored one goal in 55 appearances for Villa since joining them in June 2014
Aston Villa midfielder Carlos Sanchez has joined Italian Serie A side Fiorentina on a season-long loan, with an option for a more permanent move.
Sanchez, 30, joined Villa on a four-year deal from Spanish side Elche for an undisclosed fee in August 2014.
The Colombia international played in 23 games last term, but could not help his side avoid Premier League relegation.
He was not included in Villa's squad for their first game of the season at Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday.
