Sevilla have signed Paris St-Germain's Italy goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu on a season-long loan.

Sirigu, 29, played in Italy's 1-0 defeat by the Republic of Ireland at Euro 2016 in June.

The former Palermo keeper lost his place as PSG's first-choice following the arrival of Kevin Trapp from Eintracht Frankfurt last year.

Europa League holders Sevilla, who beat Espanyol 6-4 in their opening La Liga game, face Villarreal on Sunday.
