George Glendon: Manchester City midfielder joins Fleetwood Town permanently

George Glendon is yet to score in his 16 appearances for Fleetwood

Fleetwood Town have signed Manchester City midfielder George Glendon for an undisclosed fee after spending the first half of the season on loan.

Glendon's loan spell was due to end this month but Town have made him a permanent member of their squad.

The 21-year-old, who has represented England at under-17 level, joined City's academy aged five but did not ever feature for their first team.

He has signed an 18-month contract with the League One Cod Army.
