Chris Clements: Grimsby Town sign Mansfield midfielder for undisclosed fee

Chris Clements has scored four goals in 26 appearances this season

Grimsby Town have signed Mansfield midfielder Chris Clements for an undisclosed fee on an 18-month deal.

The 26-year-old scored 10 goals in 132 league appearances for the Stags after joining them from non-league Hednesford in July 2012.

He is the third player to join the Mariners this week after midfielder Jamey Osborne and striker Akwasi Asante moved from Solihull Moors on Wednesday.

All three could feature against Notts County in League Two on Saturday.
