Burton Albion: Shaun Barker extends stay until end of season

Burton Albion defender Shaun Barker joined the club on a free transfer from Derby County

Burton Albion's Shaun Barker has signed a new deal which will keep him at the Brewers until the end of the season.

The 34-year-old defender has played four times since joining the club on a short-term contract in August after nearly four years out with injury.

Barker made his Burton debut in a win against former club Derby.

He said: "Every single second I'm at Burton I'm loving it and it's a fantastic club to be involved in. I'm proud to be part of that."
