Inoh Effiong: Barrow sign striker from Biggleswade Town

Barrow are fifth in the National League, but have won only one of their past six league games

National League side Barrow have signed Biggleswade striker Inih Effiong on a deal until the end of the season.

Effiong is the the Southern Premier League side's top scorer, finding the net 23 times this term.

The 6 ft 4ins 25-year-old could make his debut for Barrow, who are fifth in the National League table, when they face Forest Green on Saturday.

"We are grateful to Biggleswade for allowing us speedy access to the player," director Russell Dodd said.
