Macclesfield Town: Connor Jennings and Luke Summerfield join on loan

Connor Jennings joined Tranmere on a two-year deal at the start of the season

Macclesfield Town have re-signed forward Connor Jennings from Tranmere on a one-month loan and brought in Grimsby midfielder Luke Summerfield on loan until the end of the season.

Jennings, 25, scored 16 goals for the Silkmen during the 2013-14 season, when he was on loan from Scunthorpe.

He has just returned from a three-month injury lay-off.

Former Plymouth, Shrewsbury and York man Summerfield, 29, has scored twice in 27 outings this season.

The Silkmen will have the option of signing him permanently should they win promotion to the English Football League.
