Scunthorpe United manager Graham Alexander has been charged with alleged use of abusive language towards a match official by the Football Association.

Alexander, 45, is alleged to have 'used abusive and/or insulting language towards a match official, contrary to FA Rule E3'.

The charge relates to an incident at the end of the 3-2 League One defeat by Gillingham on 11 March.

He has until 18:00 GMT on Friday 17 March to respond.
