Crewe Alexandra: James Jones and George Cooper extend contracts

Scotland Under-21 international James Jones is a graduate of Crewe Alexandra's academy

Crewe Alexandra have extended the contracts of midfielder James Jones and winger George Cooper.

Both players would have been free agents this summer but the League Two side have triggered options to keep them at the club.

Scotland Under-21 international Jones, 21, has scored nine goals for Crewe this season.

Cooper, 20, has netted eight times in 47 appearances this term while also contributing nine assists.
