Shawn McCoulsky's brace gave League Two Newport County a shock EFL Cup first round win over League One side Southend United.
The summer loan signing from Bristol City's goals came in six second-half minutes.
They will be in Thursday's second round draw for the first time since 2013.
Southend's defeat came after they shocked League One favourites Blackburn 2-1 in their season opener last weekend.
