Will Mannion is set to become League One club Plymouth Argyle's sixth goalkeeper this season after signing on an emergency loan from Hull City.

The 19-year-old is set to make his debut on Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy fixture against Yeovil Town.

He will replace Norwich loanee Remi Matthews after he was injured against Portsmouth on Saturday.

First-choice goalkeeper Luke McCormick, Kyle Letheren, Michael Cooper and Robbert te Loeke are all injured.

Club captain McCormick, has not played since 23 September after hurting his ankle, while his deputy Letheren injured his thigh at Blackburn and is out until after Christmas.

The Pilgrims' youth team goalkeeper Cooper is also out with a dislocated finger and Te Loeke has a back injury.

Mannion, who started his career at AFC Wimbledon, has played for England Under-19s and is in the Under-20s squad.
