National League side Aldershot Town have re-signed Ipswich midfielder Adam McDonnell and brought in forward Josh McQuoid from Luton Town.

McDonnell, 20, scored three goals in 19 games during a loan spell with the Shots earlier this season before being recalled by the Blues in December.

Republic of Ireland Under-19 international McDonnell has agreed a contract until the summer of 2019.

Meanwhile, McQuoid, 28, has signed a deal until the end of the season.

The Northern Ireland international had a spell at Torquay earlier in the campaign and was released by the Hatters on Friday.

He scored eight goals in 45 games during his time at Kenilworth Road after joining from Bournemouth in the summer of 2015.
