Glenavon stay third after a Mourneview Park stalemate with Ballymena United and Dungannon Swifts beat Warrenpoint Town 4-2.

Linfield dominated the first half against the title-chasing Bannsiders and the out-going champions held a deserved 2-0 lead at the break.

Campion headed in the opener from Matthew Clarke's cross before a sweet volley from Byrne doubled the advantage.

Bannsiders boss Oran Kearney brought off strikers Eoin Bradley and Jamie McGonigle at the break in an attempt to spark his team into life.

It was a bold move but it paid off as McCauley converted a 75th-minute penalty before rifling home the equaliser two minutes later for a quickfire double to stretch Coleraine's unbeaten run to 22 games.

Crusaders also had to come from behind to earn their point in a pulsating north Belfast derby at Seaview.
