Peru recorded their first win at a World Cup finals for 40 years as they defeated Australia 2-0 in their last Group C match.

Andre Carrillo and captain Paolo Guerrero scored the goals to secure a first victory since a 4-1 win over Iran in 1978 - 14,625 days ago.
