League One club Sunderland have signed Hearts goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin and Bury midfielder Chris Maguire.
Both players have agreed two-year deals at the Stadium of Light.
Thirty-year-old McLaughlin, recently a part of Scotland's national squad, had been offered a new deal by Scottish Premiership side Hearts.
Maguire, 29, scored only twice for Bury last term as they were relegated from League One, but netted 17 times for Oxford the previous season.
