Morecambe have signed striker Sam Dalby and winger Piero Mingoia on loan until the end of the season.

Dalby has joined from Leeds while Mingoia has moved from Accrington Stanley.

Dalby, 19, joined Leeds from Leyton Orient in January 2018 on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Morecambe manager Jim Bentley said: "Sam is a highly rated young forward who has a lot of attributes.

"He has been on the bench for Leeds this season and already tasted League Two and National League football. He is tall and strong, and we are looking forward to working with him.''

Mingoia, 27, is in his third spell with Stanley and has made more than 150 appearances for John Coleman's side.

He rejoined Accrington from Cambridge in June, but has made just two starts for them in League One and has moved to a Morecambe side just two points above the League Two relegation zone.

Morecambe boss Jim Bentley said:, external "Piero is a player who's always impressed us."
