Israel 4-2 Austria: Arnautovic on target but Austria well beaten in Israel

Guangzhou striker Eran Zahavi scored a hat-trick for Israel

West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic scored twice but was unable to prevent Austria from suffering a Euro 2020 qualifying defeat against Israel.

The loss means Austria sit bottom of their six-team group having lost both of their opening two fixtures.

They started well through Arnautovic's early strike, but Israel hit back through Eran Zahavi's hat-trick.

RB Salzburg striker Munas Dabbur got a fourth for the hosts, with Arnautovic scoring his second on 75 minutes.

But his side were not able to find another goal to put pressure on the hosts in the closing stages.
