Harry Wilson: Liverpool winger completes Bournemouth loan move

Wilson scored against Borussia Dortmund during Liverpool's pre-season campaign

Liverpool winger Harry Wilson has joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old impressed on loan at Derby County last season and helped the Rams to the Championship play-off final, which they lost to Aston Villa.

Wilson made six appearances in Liverpool's pre-season games, scoring against Borussia Dortmund and Lyon.

Bournemouth paid a £2.5m loan fee with another £500,000 due in bonuses depending on performance.

No option to buy was included.

"It's great to be here, great to finally get everything sorted and I can't wait to meet all the staff and the lads," Wilson told Bournemouth's website.

"When Liverpool informed me it was a possibility to come here I was keen to get it sorted. I want to play Premier League football and with a great team like Bournemouth.

"With the style of play that Bournemouth are likely to play, I feel that I can fit right in and help the team a lot."

Bournemouth will be without Wales midfielder David Brooks, 22, for three months as a result of an ankle injury.

The Cherries will also be without 29-year-old midfielder Dan Gosling for a similar period because of a hip injury.
