Gillingham sign Southampton's Thomas O'Connor and Hearts' Olly Lee on loan

Thomas O'Connor is yet to make his senior Southampton debut despite featuring in pre-season
League One club Gillingham have signed Southampton defender Thomas O'Connor and Hearts midfielder Olly Lee on loan.
O'Connor, 20, has signed agreed a deal until 1 January and Lee, 28, will stay at Priestfield until 27 January.
"Olly has been outstanding during his time at both Luton and Hearts. He is attack minded and can play on the right side of the diamond or at the top," said Gills boss Steve Evans.
"Tom's strong, physical, creative and can play anywhere on the left."
O'Connor, who came through Saints' academy and has captained their Under-23 side, recently agreed a new deal with the club until the summer of 2021.
Lee joined Hearts from Luton in July 2018 and scored six times in 41 appearances last season.
