Hearts sign Donis Avdijaj on six-month deal after forward leaves Trabzonspor

Donis Avdijaj has reunited with Daniel Stendel to become the Hearts manager's first signing
Kosovo forward Donis Avdijaj has pledged to help solve Hearts' goalscoring woes after becoming manager Daniel Stendel's first signing.
The 23-year-old joins on a six-month deal after his Trabzonspor contract was mutually cancelled.
He adds firepower to the Scottish Premiership's bottom club who have scored just 18 in 21 league games.
"There is no country, no city in the world where I don't score. I score everywhere," Avdijaj said.
"This team has more quality than where we are in the table. Now we have to show it."
Former Schalke and William II winger Avdijaj has known Stendel since his youth days in Germany and says the manager was a decisive factor in him choosing Tynecastle.
"I've had a crazy career until now," he said. "I have learned a lot, I know a lot of mentalities.
"I have a coach behind me now who knows me well, knows my qualities. I decided to come to Hearts because of the coach. It was important to have a coach who knows who I am. A need a mentor and he is that also."
Avdijaj enjoyed a bright start to his career in Schalke's youth academy before making his first-team debut at the age of 20. He struggled to hold down a regular place, though, and was loaned to Sturm Graz and Roda JC before moving to Dutch side Willem II permanently.
After just seventh months the forward, who has six caps for Kosovo, made the switch to Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig last summer.
