Conor Sammon's goal secured Falkirk's place in the last 16

Scottish League One side Falkirk set up a Scottish Cup last-16 tie with Hearts after beating Championship visitors Arbroath 2-0 in a replay.

Declan McManus and Conor Sammon scored in the second half for the hosts, who progress after a goalless draw at Gayfield 10 days earlier.

Sammon spurned a glorious chance before McManus pounced on a Gregor Buchannan header for his 15th goal of the term.

And the striker created the second, with Sammon sliding in his cross.

Arbroath tried hard to respond but rarely looked like getting back into the tie as Lee Miller and David McCracken's side earned a fifth-round tie with Premiership opposition.
