Fleetwood Town have signed Everton's Lewis Gibson, Swansea City's Barrie McKay and Norwich City's Isak Thorvaldsson on loan until the end of the season.

McKay, 25, moved to Nottingham Forest from Rangers in 2017 and joined the Swans the following year.

McKay's fellow midfielder Thorvaldsson, 18, captains Iceland's Under-19 side.

England youth defender Gibson, 19, has not played for the Premier League side since joining from Newcastle in 2017.

Fleetwood boss Joey Barton told the club website:, external "Lewis is left-footed, big, strong and will be a superb addition to our squad. We anticipate that he will make a real impact in our team.

"Barrie is a creative attacker who will provide a real spark in our squad. He's a tricky player who has the ability to go past players, create chances and score goals, so he's absolutely what we've been after.

"Isak's a tough tacking midfielder, who will bring competition to our squad. He's impressed in Norwich's under-23s despite only being 18."
