Carlisle United sign Omari Patrick and Marcus Dewhurst on deadline day

Omari Patrick had a spell on loan at National League side Wrexham earlier this season

Carlisle have signed Bradford forward Omari Patrick on an 18-month deal and Sheffield United keeper Marcus Dewhurst on loan until the end of the season.

Patrick, 23, began his senior career with Kidderminster and joined Bradford in 2017, making 31 appearances.

"This is a signing I'm really excited about," boss Chris Beech said.

Dewhurst, 18, is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blades, and has had previous loan spells with Gainsborough Trinity and Guiseley.
