Stoke City sign Aston Villa's James Chester & Tottenham's Tashan Oakley-Boothe

Stoke City have made two deadline-day signings - Aston Villa and Wales defender James Chester on loan, as well as Tottenham Hotspur teenager Tashan Oakley-Boothe for an undisclosed fee.
Chester, who helped Wales to the 2016 European Championship semis, has moved for the rest of the season but Oakley-Boothe has penned a deal until 2023.
Oakley-Boothe, 19, was in England's 2017 Under-17 World Cup winning side.
Ex-Manchester United trainee Chester, 31, has been at Villa since 2016.
Having also won promotion at Hull City, he joined West Bromwich Albion before being moved on to Villa for a reported £9m.
He defied a long-standing injury to help Villa win promotion to the Premier League last season but is yet to make a league appearance this term.
"James has great experience at club and international level," said Stoke boss Michael O'Neill., external "He will no doubt be a valuable addition."
Stoke's second deadline day signing - of highly-rated Oakley-Boothe - is the Potters' third deal of the January window, following the arrival of Northern Ireland midfielder Jordan Thompson for an undisclosed fee from League One side Blackpool.
"Tashan is a highly-promising youngster," said O'Neill., external "Exactly the kind of player we want to try and move the club forward and at the same time help him realise his potential."
Stoke boss O'Neill also had another deal lined up for one of his Northern Ireland stalwarts Chris Brunt but, although the long-serving West Bromwich Albion club captain Chris Brunt had talks with the Potters, he stayed put in the Black Country.
