Accrington Stanley have re-signed forward Bobby Grant on loan from Wrexham until the end of the season.

The League One side have also made a second loan signing by bringing in Wolves striker Benny Ashley-Seal.

Ashley-Seal, 21, has made four first-team appearances for Wolves, all from the bench, as well as playing in their Under-21 side in the EFL Trophy.

At 16 years and 309 days, Grant, now 29, was Stanley's second youngest player when he made his debut in 2007.

Neither player is available to make their debut in Saturday's home game against AFC Wimbledon.

Ashley-Seal's move is subject to both English Football League and Football Association ratification, while Grant needs international clearance.

Grant, who left Stanley in for Scunthorpe in June 2010, later had spells with Rochdale, Blackpool, Fleetwood and Shrewsbury.

After joining National League club Wrexham in 2018, initially on loan, he has scored eight times this season .

"We know what Bobby is all about," Accrington manager John Coleman told the club website., external "We know what we are getting with him and we know he will work his socks off for us to help us win games and keep us in League One."

"Benny is someone who has been on our radar since the start of the window. He's someone who'll add some firepower and hopefully he will get the fans on the edge of their seats. He'll also give a lift to everyone else in the group."
