Shrewsbury Town beat Doncaster Rovers 1-0 in the League One game

Shrewsbury Town and Doncaster Rovers have been fined for failing to control their players following a last-minute incident in their League One game at Oteley Road on Saturday 22 February.

Both sides were charged by the Football Association with having "failed to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion".

Shrewsbury were fined £4,000 and Doncaster £2,500 for their involvement.

Doncaster accepted the standard penalty but Shrewsbury chose a 'paper hearing'.

Shrewsbury held on to win a tense match, midfielder Dave Edwards scoring the only goal of the game.
