Portsmouth: Christian Burgess and Sean Raggett deals extended
- Published
Portsmouth centre-backs Christian Burgess and Sean Raggett will be available to play in the League One play-offs after extending their contracts with the club.
Burgess has agreed a pre-contract agreement with Royal Union Saint-Gilloise, but the Belgian club have given the 28-year-old permission to play for Pompey.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Raggett has had his loan spell from Premier League side Norwich extended until the end of the campaign.
Lee Brown, Matt Casey, Oli Hawkins, Brandon Haunstrup, Adam May and Brett Pitman will also remain at Fratton Park after agreeing temporary deals.
However, Luke McGee has opted not to sign an extension and will now leave the club after making 55 appearances since signing from Tottenham in the summer of 2017.
Teenage striker Bradley Lethbridge, who has made three first-team appearances, will also leave the Hampshire club.
Burgess, who joined Pompey from Peterborough in June 2015, has agreed a three-year deal with Royal Union.
Pompey will host Oxford United in the first leg of their semi-final tie on Friday, 3 July (1730 BST), with the return leg on Monday, 6 July (17:00 BST).
