Dundee: 12 of 13 players agree to wage cuts

Striker Kane Hemmings is the only one of 13 Dundee players to refuse to accept a wage cut.
On Wednesday, eight players who had yet to agree fresh terms were told by letter of "a significant risk" that Dundee could not sustain the wage bill.
By Friday night's deadline, 11 of the 13 players involved in the consultation process had accepted reduced contracts, with another following on Saturday.
The Scottish Championship club say the sacrifices are "hugely appreciated".
In a statement released on Monday, they added that after a "week of difficult but progressive conversations" a "high majority" of players and staff had taken cuts.
Dundee believe that under clause 12 of the SPFL contract of employment, they have the right to suspend contracts in full because football in the Championship is still adjourned.
However, PFA Scotland have told players they will back anyone whose club tries to enforce clause 12.
Since the coronavirus crisis shut down the professional game, Dundee's players have been on furlough, with their full salaries topped up by the club.
It remains a matter between Dundee and Hemmings concerned as to whether his contract will now be suspended, as this week's letter suggested would be the case, or whether an agreement can be reached.
The cuts Dundee are asking for are between 15 and 25% depending on the level of salary.
Last month, Dundee assistant coach Jimmy Nicholl was sacked by the club as part of their cost cutting, along with sports scientist Cammy McDermid.
Elsewhere, Hibernian held video calls with players and staff in June over proposed cuts, while chief executive Leeann Dempster said the club were "having to devise ways that we can continue to feed the club".
What is clause 12?
Wording of clause 12, schedule three of SPFL contract of employment
In the event of the Scottish FA deciding that the game shall be suspended, either entirely or in any district or districts as provided for in the articles of association of the Scottish FA, this agreement shall be correspondingly suspended, unless the club is exempted from such suspension or the club otherwise determines.
