Birmingham City have signed Chloe McCarron from Linfield and brought in Scotland captain Rachel Corsie on loan.
Midfielder McCarron, 22, has agreed a two-year contract with the Blues, while centre-back Corsie, 31, joins until the end of January.
Corsie has won 116 caps for Scotland, and moves to the Women's Super League club from American side Utah Royals.
Northern Ireland international McCarron helped Linfield win three Northern Ireland Premiership titles.
She joined the club in 2017 and won the club's player of the year award in 2018-19.
Corsie has previous experience in England having spent a year in the WSL with Notts County in 2014.
The defender, who was born in Aberdeen and captained Scotland at their first-ever World Cup finals in France last year, won 16 major honours with Glasgow City before her single season in England.
She then moved to Seattle Reign in the United States, where she won the NWSL Shield, and has played a season for Canberra United in Australia's W-League.
Birmingham's first WSL game of the 2020-21 season is away at Brighton on Sunday, 6 September.
