Three debutants received your highest average ratings for England players in the 0-0 Nations League draw with Denmark.

Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips (5.48) and Wolves defender Conor Coady (5.29) started and were the only England players to get more than five out 10.

Jack Grealish, a 76th-minute substitute, was next on 4.92 - and BBC Radio 5 Live pundit Chris Waddle thinks he should have been given more time.

The 24-year-old Aston Villa midfielder, who has just finished his first season as a Premier League regular, stayed on the bench in the recent win over Iceland.

"These were two good games to have a look at Jack Grealish," said Waddle. "If Grealish had started both games, would he have been a weakness in the team? No he wouldn't.

"So where would you play him? Jadon Sancho is not doing it for me - he's doing it for Dortmund, not for England. So you think 'I'll play Grealish in these games and if he's not playing well, bring Sancho on'.

"You know what Sancho can do. If Grealish plays badly you say 'maybe he's not an England player'. But let's see if he could do it and this was the perfect opportunity.

"You can't give him 15 minutes and say 'see what happens' - he might never get another game."

Grealish, a former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, said: "I was actually a bit emotional. It's something you dream of. Everyone dreams as a little kid of playing for England.

"It was such a privilege coming on and it's a shame we couldn't get the win in the end. I want to thank Gareth [Southgate] for giving me the opportunity and hopefully it is the first of many.

"It's obviously a brilliant day for myself and one of the best of my career so far.

"It's my first game and I was happy with how I've done - hopefully it's the first of a few. I've enjoyed every single minute."

What did you think on #bbcfootball?

Jon Evans: Southgate left it too late to bring Grealish on. 75 minutes with 3 CBs and 2 DMs is poor. Really deserves criticism tonight.

Wilson K Watson: Anyone who doesn't think Jack Grealish doesn't deserve to be in the side trying to add creativity to a stagnant team should go back to playing Football Manager

Simon Atkins: I am really confused at so many people thinking Grealish is the solution to all England's problems. He had a good season, that's it.

Here is how the other England and Denmark players fared in your ratings...
