Tobin Heath & Christen Press: Manchester United Women sign United States pair

Manchester United Women have signed the two-time World Cup-winning United States duo of Tobin Heath and Christen Press on one-year contracts.
Striker Press, 31, who has scored 58 goals in 138 appearances for her country, arrives from National Women's Soccer League side Utah Royals.
Fellow forward Heath, 32, joins from Portland Thorns, where she has been playing for the past seven seasons.
"Manchester United is an exceptional club," Heath said.
"I'm looking forward to playing with and against some of the best players in the world."
Both players were part of the USA's back-to-back World Cup winning teams of 2015 and 2019.
Manchester United head coach Casey Stoney said she was "thrilled" to have signed a "world-class player" in Press, who has previous European club experience playing for Goteborg FC and Tyreso FF in Sweden, join the club for their second season in the Women's Super League.
"She's a ruthless striker who scores so many different types of goals, and I know she can add some real quality to our squad," Stoney continued.
On Heath, she added: "She is an outstanding player who brings a wealth of experience.
"She is extremely skilful and possesses so much quality on the ball; her speed and intelligence in one v one situations will be a real asset that will push the team forward this season, and I can't wait to see her make her mark on the league."
