Brighton 4-0 Portsmouth: Albion fringe players impress in Carabao Cup win

Three Brighton players scored their first goals in English football as they beat Portsmouth in the Carabao Cup.
Graham Potter's side visit Preston North End in the third round next week.
Alexis Mac Allister's powerful header opened the scoring and Alireza Jahanbakhsh smashed in a brilliant 20-yard shot into the roof of the net for the game's best goal.
Bernardo headed in from Pascal Gross' corner and Viktor Gyokeres drove in a fourth goal after finding space.
It was only Jahanbakhsh's third goal for Brighton in 38 appearances, with his previous two coming in the space of four days over last season's festive period.
Argentina midfielder Mac Allister, Brazilian defender Bernardo and Sweden forward Gyokeres all scored their first goals for the club, with the latter two also assisting goals.
None of them featured in Brighton's opening Premier League game, a 3-1 defeat by Chelsea.
Brighton dominated from the start and deserved their big victory.
They could have won by more with Bernardo firing over in the first half after Gyokeres' effort was saved.
Gross was denied by an excellent Jack Whatmough clearance off the line and Dale Stephens hit the post with a fine 20-yard strike.
Portsmouth rarely threatened with Sean Raggett's 82nd-minute header their first effort on target.
