Stevenage: Ben Coker signs a permanent deal and Aramide Oteh joins on loan
- Published
Stevenage have turned defender Ben Coker's loan from Lincoln City into a permanent move and signed QPR forward Aramide Oteh on a season's loan.
Left-back Coker, 32, joined the League Two side on loan in August but the Imps have now allowed him a free transfer.
Coker made more than 200 appearances over six seasons with Southend United but has struggled with injuries since joining Lincoln last summer.
Oteh, 22, has had loans at Walsall and Bradford over the past two seasons.
Stevenage have not disclosed the length of Coker's contract.
"He is a top character, player, leader and professional," Stevenage boss Alex Revell said of Coker to the club website.
"He is as a top talent," Revell added about Oteh, who has scored once in 17 Championship appearances for QPR.
"He has played Championship football and his club manager has said positive things about him and his attributes."
