FA Cup: Hampton & Richmond 2-3 Oldham Athletic highlights

Oldham overcame National League South side Hampton & Richmond to advance to the FA Cup second round.

Ben Garrity's close-range finish from a low Bobby Grant cross gave Oldham an early lead.

Sam Deadfield levelled from the penalty spot after goalkeeper Ian Lawlor brought down Ruaridh Donaldson.

Grant, who earlier hit the post, made it 2-1 with a tap-in finish and Danny Rowe added a fine third before Deadfield set up a tense finish with his second.

Rowe hit the post in search of a fourth for Harry Kewell's League Two side, who eventually secured victory against 10 men after Tyrell Miller-Rodney was sent off for a second caution in the third minute of injury time.
