England v Republic of Ireland: Who makes your Three Lions XI?
- Published
England have another international triple-header in November when they face the Republic of Ireland in a friendly, before Nations League games against Belgium and Iceland.
First up for the Three Lions is Stephen Kenny's Republic side, who arrive at Wembley for the first time since 2013.
We asked you who should make Gareth Southgate's starting XI - and the results are in.
Aston Villa's Jack Grealish, a fringe player to date for England, was picked in the vast majority of your teams and lines up alongside Liverpool's Jordan Henderson and Declan Rice of West Ham in midfield, with Manchester City's Phil Foden just missing out.
Only Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell appeared in more teams than Grealish.
Everton's Jordan Pickford failed to get your vote of confidence, being the least selected goalkeeper of the three in the squad. Burnley's Nick Pope was comfortably the most popular, appearing in 45% of teams.
Liverpool defender Joe Gomez would have failed to make your XI, even before his departure from the squad because of injury, with Wolves' Conor Coady and Tryone Mings of Aston Villa getting the nod in central defence, just ahead of Manchester United's Harry Maguire.
Kyle Walker lines up at right-back and, up top, his Manchester City team-mate Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund are your choices to play either side of Kane.
You can still choose your XI below and then share it with your friends, but it won't now count towards the result.
Result taken as of 21:00 GMT on Wednesday, 11 November.
