Millwall 0-0 Norwich: Leaders held to goalless draw
- Published

Championship leaders Norwich have drawn their past two games 0-0
Norwich moved five points clear at the top of the Championship but failed to score for a second successive league game as they were held at Millwall.
The hosts had the better of the few opportunities as Kenneth Zohore headed over and Scott Malone dragged an effort wide when well-placed.
The Canaries, who also drew 0-0 with Middlesbrough on Saturday, have now failed to score in their past three games.
Jed Wallace had a great chance to win it with the last kick of the game when some bizarre overplaying from the visitors left him with an open goal from 40 yards out but he could not get his shot on target.
Goalkeeper Tim Krul was out of position having thrown the ball back into play just inside his own half but, rather than just launch the ball forward with seconds left, Norwich played the ball square and midfielder Kieran Dowell lost it to Wallace, who could only send his long-range shot past the post.
It was a sixth 0-0 this season for Millwall, who are now unbeaten in four but will have felt they had the chances to have taken three points.
Norwich will need to improve for their next game as they travel to second-placed Swansea on Friday.
Millwall boss Gary Rowett:
"I thought it was an excellent performance and as well as we've played for a while.
"We were playing against such a difficult side in Norwich, who are really technical and move the ball around so well.
"We certainly created some good moments in the first half, maybe we should have taken them.
"Second half, I thought we were brilliant. I worried whether our energy could be maintained and we really stepped on the gas and looked stronger than Norwich, physically."
Norwich boss Daniel Farke:
(Asked if he was worried about his side's recent lack of goals) "No, it's not a concern.
"We are sitting top of the league. The last two league games we found it hard to find the net, but they were difficult games.
"I got the feeling we created even more situations in the final third in comparison to the Middlesbrough game, but we didn't show enough quality to finish the situations and in our decision-making.
"This is quite normal - this is the Championship and 46 games. Always during these 46 games you have a period when you find it a little bit hard to convert your chances or to be ruthless enough.
