Charles Vernam and Ollie Crankshaw: Bradford City sign Burton Albion and Wigan Athletic attackers

Bradford City have signed Burton Albion forward Charles Vernam and Wigan Athletic winger Ollie Crankshaw.
Both have joined for undisclosed fees with Vernam, 24, agreeing an 18-month deal and Crankshaw, 22, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Vernam has scored two goals in 16 games for the struggling Brewers this season, following the ex-Coventry forward's move from Grimsby Town last July.
Crankshaw has hit three goals in 24 games for troubled Wigan this season.
"It is great to have got the move sorted," Vernam said. "As soon as I heard of the interest from Bradford City, I knew where I needed to be.
"I remember playing here last season for Grimsby, and the stadium was pretty much full. You do not forget those sorts of moments, and I want to be able to experience that kind of an atmosphere again."
Crankshaw added on the club website: "It feels great to be here and I am glad to have got the deal over the line. The offer was there and I really wanted to come to this club.
"There are some extremely positive things happening at Bradford City at the moment, and the morale around the place is great.
"This is such a big club and, when the opportunity came around, I took it with both hands. I want to play a big part, here, and help us get back to where we should be."
Meanwhile, the Bantams have released Tyler French and Dylan Mottley-Henry to allow them to find other clubs.
