Port Vale have signed Huddersfield defender Mustapha Olagunju and Nottingham Forest midfielder Will Swan on loan until the end of the season.

Olagunju, 19, made his debut for the Terriers in their FA Cup defeat by Plymouth last month.

Swan, 20, has made two substitute appearances for Forest after making his debut at Swansea in November 2020.

Both players could feature for the managerless League Two side at Tranmere on Saturday.

The double signing brings Vale to five additions this window after the arrival of young Manchester City keeper Thomas Scott, Bradford City striker Kurtis Guthrie and the return of Nottingham Forest midfielder Jake Taylor.

Vale, still under interim boss Danny Pugh, are 15th in League Two.
