Preston have signed Everton's Anthony Gordon, Stoke City's Liam Lindsay and Liverpool's Sepp van den Berg on loan for the rest of the season.

Dutch centre-back Van den Berg, 19, joins as part of the deal that has seen Preston's Ben Davies move to Anfield.

Lindsay, 25, is also a centre-back and has played 23 times for Stoke but has not featured since January 2020.

Highly-rated forward Gordon, 19, has played 14 times in the Premier League but has not scored a first-team goal.

"We needed to make sure we brought another attacking option in and I think Anthony, who has been involved in most of Everton's games this season, has huge potential and he is different to the other type of lads we have as well," Preston boss Alex Neil told the club website.

"Anthony wants to take the ball, he wants to get at people, he wants to try and take them on and be creative in the final third. That type of player is what we have needed."
