Euro 2020: Who made your Wales starting XI for game two against Turkey?
- Published
We asked you to put yourselves in Robert Page's shoes and pick Wales' starting line-up to face Turkey in their second Euro 2020 Group A match on 16 June.
Once again thousands of you wanted a say, with one major change in your thinking from the players you chose for the Switzerland game.
Will Page's team and yours be more alike on this occasion?
Once again the majority of you, 59.84%, would favour a 4-3-3 formation.
However 4-2-3-1, the formation Page used for the opening 1-1 draw with Switzerland this time attracted 21.53% of votes, up from 10.44%.
These are the players you picked.
Goalkeeper
This one is your biggest change of opinion.
Before the opening game of the tournament Wayne Hennessey was the most overwhelming choice in any position with 73.64% of you wanting to see the Crystal Palace stopper in the Wales line-up.
After his outstanding display last Saturday however, this time a massive 85.14% of you would keep Danny Ward in goal to face Turkey.
Defenders
It is possible Page might switch to a back three against Turkey, but more than 88% of you would stick with a back four.
Ben Davies is again the most voted-for defender and was the second-most selected player overall so he is your left-back, which is where he played against Switzerland.
For that opening match your choice of right-back differed from Page's selection. He went for Connor Roberts on Saturday, but once again your preferred option would be Neco Williams, who polled slightly more votes than Swansea City's Roberts both as a full-back or a wing-back.
Joe Rodon received the second highest number of votes among the defenders, chosen as the most popular option in both central positions.
However you had a change of thoughts over his partner this time, opting for Chris Mepham, who was Page's choice against Switzerland.
Midfielders
Ethan Ampadu had been your choice alongside Rodon in the back four on Saturday. Now, however, you would like to see the Chelsea/Sheffield United youngster moved into midfield.
Joe Morrell, who started against Switzerland, attracted relatively few backers, with Joe Allen the top choice by position, polling up to 36.95% of votes.
Versatile Juventus star Aaron Ramsey was the most voted-for midfielder overall - and the third-most popular selection to face Turkey.
Forwards
Up front there was no change in your thinking and you agreed too with the selection Page made for the opening game.
It should come as no surprise that Gareth Bale was picked more than any other player. Only a handful of you did not go for the four-time Champions League winner.
Saturday's goal-scoring hero Kieffer Moore would also keep his place if BBC Sport readers were selecting the team, with Manchester United forward Daniel James again your fourth most popular pick.
So no place in your side for Bournemouth's David Brooks, a late substitute against Switzerland, or for Liverpool's Harry Wilson, who did not get off the bench.
However both, along with defender Roberts, received backing from many of you - and will no doubt be among Page's options either to start or come off the bench in a game that could be key to the qualification hopes of both sides.
You can still pick your XI but your selections will not be counted towards the result - don't forget to share your picks on social media using #bbcfootball.
