Walsall have signed FC Halifax Town midfielder Jack Earing for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.

Earing, 22, who scored nine goals in 42 league games for the Shaymen after joining from Bolton in July 2019, is the Saddlers' fourth summer signing.

He follows Leyton Orient striker Conor Wilkinson, Newport midfielder Joss Labadie and Tranmere Rovers defender Manny Monthe.

In addition, defender Hayden White has taken up his offer of a new deal.

Right-back White, 26, who joined the Saddlers on deadline day last September after being released by Mansfield Town, has signed a new two-year deal.
