Charlton Athletic captain Jason Pearce and midfielder Ben Watson have agreed to extend their contracts with the League One club by another year.
Centre-back Pearce, 33, also has an agreement for a potential future coaching role at The Valley.
Watson, 35, who scored the winning goal for Wigan in the 2013 FA Cup final, joined on a free transfer last season after his release by Nottingham Forest.
Both started more than 25 games each in the league for the Addicks last term.
Former Bournemouth and Leeds player Pearce has played nearly 150 games since joining Charlton in August 2016, scoring six goals.
"I've loved my time at Charlton," he said. "It's the longest I've been at a club and I see myself staying here for a long time."
At the end of next season, Pearce and Charlton will work together with him either continuing as a member of the playing squad or moving into a coaching role.
Watson started 30 games in League One last season as Charlton narrowly missed out on the play-offs.
