Reading have signed former Bristol City right-back Faye Bryson and agreed a first professional deal with teenage Welsh defender Bethan Roberts.
Ex-Everton defender Bryson, 23, has agreed a two-year contract after her deal at Ashton Gate came to an end after a season-and-a-half.
Cardiff-born Roberts, 18, was called up to the Wales squad for the first time in March, but has yet to win a cap.
She has also agreed a two-year contract with the Women's Super League side.
Roberts made her debut as a 17-year-old substitute against Bristol City in December, playing six times last term.
"She is a great young player and last season she developed leaps and bounds," Reading manager Kelly Chambers said of Roberts to the club website. , external
"She is a fast, technical player whose attributes fit our style of play. I can't wait to continue working with Bethan and see her grow even more."
On Bryson, Chambers added: "She is a young player that is hungry to get better. She has great full-back attributes and she is a difficult player to play against and is going to add to my back-line this season.
"I know there is more to come from Faye and I believe in the right environment she could really blossom and that makes me excited to work with her."
