Queens Park Rangers eased to a convincing victory over newly promoted Hull City in the Championship.
Chris Willock put them in front early in the first half although goalkeeper Seny Dieng had to make important saves to keep their advantage.
But goals after the break from Scotland striker Lyndon Dykes and Rob Dickie secured the three points at the MKM Stadium.
The Tigers ended with ten men after George Moncur was shown a straight red card for a foul on Dominic Ball.
QPR were one of the form teams in the Championship in the second half of last season, picking up 44 of their 68 points as they finished ninth, and expectations are high this campaign.
After surviving early pressure, Willock drilled in the opener off the post, but Hull responded well and Dieng came to his team's rescue saving from Josh Magennis, Keane Lewis-Potter and Lewie Coyle. And when the goalkeeper was beaten, Dickie produced a goal-line clearance to prevent substitute Matt Smith from equalising.
But Dykes doubled the lead from a Stefan Johansen corner, before Dickie scored for a third consecutive game this season to rubber stamp the victory having seen Moncur sent off minutes before.
It was a fourth straight Championship away win for Mark Warburton's side, but a first home league defeat since February for Hull.
QPR manager Mark Warburton said:
"This is a tough place to come so it's great to get three points. There were spells in the second half when Hull were on top, but that's the Championship.
"This league challenges you because it's so relentless. The boys deserve an awful lot of credit for their character and their performance.
"We showed a lot of character, and I also thought we worked really hard. The clean sheet is also a big statement from us."
Hull City manager Grant McCann told BBC Radio Humberside:
"We've lost a game on two set-plays. It's a big area for teams whether that's clever set-plays or pumping balls into the box, so we need to be good at that, and we have it in our locker to do it.
"But I've got a really good group of boys and they're hurting in the dressing room. We'll bounce back as that's what this group does.
"But I've seen enough in two games to know we'll be ultra-competitive in this division."
