Blackpool scored twice in the space of four second-half minutes as they came from 2-0 down to hold unbeaten Bournemouth to a draw.
Dominic Solanke had put the Cherries in control with two goals inside the first 20 minutes but the Tangerines rallied after the break.
James Husband clawed a goal back when he pounced on a rebound from a Luke Garbutt free-kick before Jerry Yates equalised shortly after with a penalty.
Keshi Anderson was fouled by Zeno Ibsen Rossi and the Blackpool striker converted with a shot down the middle.
The result gave Blackpool their second away point of the season on their return to Championship football following back-to-back home defeats by Cardiff City and Coventry City.
Bournemouth missed the chance to record a third successive win under Scott Parker and the match perhaps turned on a moment early in the second half featuring two of the goalscorers.
Solanke looked set to add to his first-half brace and complete a hat-trick when he ran through on goal and rounded Blackpool goalkeeper Chris Maxwell.
But rather than making it 3-0 to the hosts, he was denied by a superb last-ditch tackle from Husband to prevent him from finishing.
Soon after, Blackpool found themselves level courtesy of Husband's reactions inside the penalty area to get the first touch off the post when Philip Billing failed to clear and then Yates from 12 yards out to net his first of the season.
Beforehand it appeared Bournemouth would make light work of Neil Critchley's side as Solanke netted for the second game in five days. Firstly, he rifled home Junior Stanislas' through ball across goal from just inside the penalty area and then headed in from an Emiliano Marcondes cross as he found space between the centre-backs.
But Blackpool were rewarded after the break for their determination after Anderson and Josh Bowler had both gone close before the break.
Jaidon Anthony almost restored Bournemouth's lead shortly after Yates' penalty but Maxwell was equal to his shot and he was on hand again deep into stoppage time to tip Solanke's header around the post.
Bournemouth manager Scott Parker told BBC Radio Solent:
"I think that was a fair result overall. Initially at the start of the game at 2-0 we were brilliant in our pace, endeavour and intensity.
"At 20 minutes, I felt there was a bit of a change in the game and we needed to get to half-time which we did.
"Second half, we weren't good enough in what we produced and the intensity we played at, the way we managed the game.
"Credit to Blackpool, they put us under immense pressure and deserved to get back into the game.
"There were things out there today which we definitely need to improve on, understanding the ebbs and flows of matches and recognising those moments and understanding how we need to handle them."
Blackpool head coach Neil Critchley told BBC Radio Lancashire:
"It was an entertaining game. You fear the worst when you're 2-0 down after 20 minutes against a very good team.
"But I've got nothing but praise for our team today. We tried to take the game to them and our response to going 2-0 down was outstanding.
"We grew in belief the longer the game went on and we gave all we had against them. This group of players never lie down, they never know when they're beaten, they go right to the end.
"That was proven last season and will stand us in really good stead this season where in difficult moments, we will have to find ways to work ourselves into games."
