The options are limited by injuries and Covid-19, making the task even tougher as Scotland bid to halt Denmark's winning start to World Cup qualifying.

We asked you to put yourself in Steve Clarke's shoes and pick your starting XI to face the Danes.

With a 4-3-3 formation favoured over Clarke's preferred 3-5-2, the last line of defence is an overwhelming choice. There's no Scotland debut for Zander Clark or Liam Kelly as Craig Gordon replaces David Marshall in goal with 87% of the votes.

The defence is also pretty clear cut, with Andy Robertson and Kieran Tierney shoo-ins at left-back and centre-back respectively.

With no recognised right-back in the squad, Jack Hendry is your choice to fill that role, while Grant Hanley partners Tierney in the centre.

In midfield, Billy Gilmour is the most popular pick, having made an impressive full debut against England at Euro 2020 this summer before contracting Covid and missing the final outing against Croatia.

The midfield trio is completed by Celtic players, with David Turnbull making his first competitive Scotland start alongside Callum McGregor.

Up front, there's a clear consensus for Che Adams and Lyndon Dykes to both start, while new Bournemouth signing Ryan Christie gets the nod ahead of Ryan Fraser.

There's plenty of talent in that team. Over to you, Scotland.
